UFOs Are REAL! (probably)

The first time I saw a SpaceX rocket launch I thought I was looking at an alien spacecraft. This was not a UFO as it wasn’t “unidentified” in my mind – this was the real thing and I was seeing it with my own eyes! I was ridiculously excited during the event, and then crushed when I learned shortly after what it actually was.

Did I let that lesson inform how emotionally attached I let myself get with future unknown space anomalies? Hell no. Like Mulder from the X-Files, I want to believe too badly to let an opportunity for conclusion-jumping to slip passed me. So maybe it goes without saying that when I saw the Starlink satellite train for the first time I repeated the excitement/disappointment cycle to the very letter.

All this is a way to get across two points. First and maybe most obvious: The Spark has an excellent view of the rocket launches when they happen out of California as well as the satellite train they’re carrying into orbit any time they circle around – and they’re always a lot of fun to watch!

And second: A Spark in the Dark is primed and ready for optimum UFO searching! The skies are so clear and dazzling and deep that if anything tries to sneak across it you’re almost guaranteed to spot it! Whether it has an explanation or not. 😉

So come on out and set up your base camp in solitude and peace, surrounded by the serene silence of nature, where the night sky stretches out in all its unfiltered glory. Bring your binoculars, telescopes, cameras, and whatever else you may use to scan the universe. Whether you’re spotting an alien teenager practicing for their space flight license, or you’re discovering a piece of floating space junk, the experience is all the more magical when you’re doing it under the stars at The Spark!

And I have plenty of room for you. 🙂

Happy searching – from your humble hosts,
Clifford (he who speaks) and Sandy (she who barks)
