Happy mid-September, Sparklers! So we just had our first super chilly night out here at A Spark in the Dark Campground. At least what Yours Truly considers chilly – which amounts to swapping shorts for pants and donning a warm overshirt. Fall is right around the corner, with October and Halloween soon to follow!

As the days grow shorter and the nights cool down, it’s the perfect time to visit The Spark. This season our campfires burn brighter, the stars seem more twinkly… and with the random movie night approaching you’ll be pulling up a chair and snuggling into your blanket as we celebrate the coming Halloween with our favorite spooky movies! Come on out and test yourself – explore the nature trail at night! Just you, the twisted skeletons of fallen Juniper, cackling coyotes, and the occasional sigh of the moonlit wind.
