!!!BREAKING NEWS!!!

Hey there, Sparklers! The first full length test run was a success! The sound was awesome, and even though it ran at full blast using 1000 watts, my battery system held strong powering the 5.1 surround and the projector with lots of room to spare!

Notes for the future: I want to build or buy a frame for the screen so I can place the projector behind it, mirrored for reverse projection. That way this ridiculous platform I have set up here can be removed from the seating area. Also I want to get each speaker off the ground – probably they will each need their own stand high enough that the wires will hang well above causing any ground hazard. 

But at least now I know I can immediately host feature length flicks – and I’m thankful to my handful of guests who came down to see the maiden voyage! October is going to be fuuuun for movies!! Keep an eye on The Spark’s Facebook page for upcoming movie dates and times as they are randomly decided upon!
